Study of Existing Projects

(At Jefara Region and Conveyance System Branch Areas)

The Authority has performed a comprehensive evaluation of existing projects situated in regions located at Jabel Hasawna Conveyance System in order to ascertain current conditions and status in these projects, also to know state of hydraulic and water facilities. To see if they can be utilized usefully and to maintain huge investment spent in these projects. This is done by providing adequate waters from MMR and to include them in the Authority investment plan. These projects are:

1-    Garahbully Agricultural Project.

2-    Al-Hira Agricultural Project.

3-    Mjeneen Agricultural Project.

4-    Abu Shieba Agricultural Project.

5-    Wadi Al Hay Agricultural Project.

6-    Bir Tirfas Agricultural Project.

7-    Tummena Agricultural Project.

8-    Dafnia – Naema Agricultural Project.

9-    El-Khmus Farm.

10- Jandouba Agricultural Project.

Preliminary exploitation reports were made on these projects with their evaluation within investment of MMR Al Hasawna Conveyance System waters.
