A. Training

Authority for The Investment of Jabel Hasawna – Jefara Water System of MMR paid considerable attention to training according to plans and timetables and programs of projects and according to works assigned to it. Aiming to develop the abilities of engineers and technicians works related to investment of Jabel Hasawna – Jefara Water Network water of MMR.

From the beginning the authority laid down training programs to be conducted according to works and project phase’s priorities. It has also conducted many training courses locally and abroad at technical, managerial and financial fields and also in computer and English language fields in the order of execution of its approved training plan.

In addition to participation in some seminars and conferences held locally and abroad which are related to works and tasks of the AlJHJW.

B. Scope of Investment Activities

1. Mutual Investment

The plan of The Authority aims at offering some of the agricultural projects located within the limits of the system for mutual investment whether local or foreigner for implementing mutual investment agricultural projects aiming at the transfer of the modern technology and building the national elements, and so the participation in developing our national products as would assist for their to the international markets. These projects include:-

-         Tarhouna Agricultural Project.

-         Abu Aisha Agricultural Project.

-         Wadi Tajmoot Agricultural Project.

-         Suf Aljeen Agricultural Project.

-         Grarat Alqataf Agricultural Project.

2. Al-Sidra Nursery at Al-Tuwiesha

This nursery is planned to provide the needs of the investment projects of the Authority with all kinds of wind breakers with a total area of 63 Ha.

The Authority administration insisted in the development, improvement and investment of the nursery for producing all types forestry plantation like pines, dedonia, acacia, casuarinas,eucalyptus.

The nursery has in recent years produced millions of forest plants mentioned above. This in addition to the production of the fruit seedlings of higher production specifications for purpose of providing the targeted investment projects.
