By virtue of the General People’s Committee’s Decree 230 of the year 1995 the “ The Authority for the Utilization of  JabelHasawna – Jefara Water System of the Man-Made River “ was established, with the task and the responsibilities for organization and investment of the Conveyance System JabelHasawnaJefara. Through policies, plans, programs which it sets up aiming to reach maximum levels of agricultural and animal production with the best possible economic returns.
